The African Astronomical Society (AfAS) extends an invitation to the upcoming AfAS Annual Conference from 15th to 20th April 2024 (AfAS-2024). We are pleased to announce that this event will be conducted in a hybrid format, offering online and in-person participation options. It will be hosted by Cadi Ayyad University and the Oukaimeden Observatory (OUCA) in the vibrant city of Marrakech, Morocco.
Our hybrid conference format is designed to ensure maximum participation, allowing those unable to travel an equal opportunity to attend and/or present their work virtually. Please be aware that the in-person attendance capacity at the venue is restricted to 150 individuals, while additional participants are encouraged to join us virtually.
We are currently inviting submissions for talks and posters in the following tracks:
1) Scientific
2) Education, Development, and Outreach (EDO)

We encourage interested individuals to submit a concise abstract (maximum 300 words) detailing their presentation for consideration by our Scientific and EDO Organizing Committee. The deadline for abstract submission is 09 November 2023.
